Together, Elopements of Nashville and Rich Events have over 33 years of experience in weddings and elopements. Elopements are different than traditional weddings and require a special skillset that we have perfected over the years. We are able to offer high quality services, at stunning venues, in a very short timeframe. Our streamlined process allows our couples to have a truly amazing elopement experience.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN A MICRO-WEDDING CEREMONY?

VENUE with up to 20 guests

Beautiful and historic, Spring Haven Mansion is located in Hendersonville, just minutes from downtown Nashville. Offering both indoor and outdoor ceremony locations makes it the perfect location. It is also pet friendly! This package will have seating for 20.

OFFICIANT

Rev. Rich is a seminary-trained ordained minister and former pastor, and is possibly the most experienced Nashville wedding minister. He offers both religious and non - religious ceremonies.

Assistant

Rev. Rich has an assistant who will be present to make sure everything runs smooth and easy! She will help with the processional, recessional and coordination of bridal party attendants. She will organize any music you have arranged, whether that be the Rich Events recorded music, or a live musician that you have brought.

The couple can have up to 4 bridal party attendants, 2 on each side, should they choose.

WHAT DOES A MICRO-WEDDING CEREMONY LOOK LIKE?

ARRIVAL

Couple + any guests enter through the mansion gate together at the start time and park in the parking lot. (The gate will be blocked until the start time, where you will be escorted in.) The couple hand their Tennessee Marriage License paperwork to Rev. Rich and rings and bouquet to photographers. Rev. Rich verifies names with the couple while the photographers photograph the rings and bouquet.

Couple also has the option to dress at the venue, using the bride and groom rooms.

Rev. Rich and his assistant will go over details of the processional, ceremony and recessional before lining up any bridal party that will be walking. The assistant will organize whatever music you have arranged, whether that be the Rich Events recored music upgrade, or a live musician that you have brought. (If you added video, the groom will be mic’d at this time)

CEREMONY

Rev. Rich + Groom and any groomsmen enter the ceremony, followed by bridesmaids and bride. Couple take their place at the alter and all guests take a seat. (If you have no bridal party, Rev. Rich and the Groom enter, followed by the bride and whomever is escorting her.) Photographer photographs the ceremony.

Micro - Wedding Ceremonies take place outside in front of the mansion. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be inside the mansion.

PHOTOS

Following the ceremony the photographers will capture formal pictures with guests and finish with pictures of just the couple.

When you book your package, it includes access to the venue/grounds for that exact amount of time. Arriving early or staying late to take more photos is not permitted. We also have multiple back to back elopements a day, so it is important our clients arrive on time and leave on time.

This package allows a max of 20 guests, additional guests are not permitted.

WHAT DO WE NEED TO LEGALLY BE MARRIED IN TENNESSEE?

TN MARRIAGE LICENSE

The thought of running off and getting married spontaneously may be romantic, but it can't happen if you don't do the necessary prep work. You'll need a TN Marriage License if your planning to Elope in Nashville! Even if you're not a TN resident, you still need a TN marriage license. You can actually get your license at any county clerk in Tennessee.

Since most of our couples are staying in the Nashville area we have a link to the Davidson County Clerk above.

All of the stylists at Harlow Salon specialize in bridal party hair and makeup.

They even offer a “Princess Package” where you can come in with your bridal party, and they serve brunch, mimosas, coffee, tea, and sodas; all while having a professional photographer capture your entire event on camera. All you have to do is come into the salon and RELAX.

You can't photograph wedding vows!

Well, technically you can and we do but you can't actually HEAR your vows in a photograph. Our wireless lav mics on both the groom and the officiant record your vows flawlessly allowing you to relive the moment forever.
Share with those that couldn't make it!

For couples choosing to elope without guests, this is a perfect way to have something your friends and family can watch! It also allows the two of you to have a professional video of your ceremony to look back on for years to come.

robe & Stole
upgrade

Rev. Rich can wear his black ministerial robe and white stole for your wedding ceremony. This requires specific attire to be worn underneath the robe and the robe must be brought out of storage, so this upgrade must be requested at least 48 hours in advance of a wedding. This upgrade is available to all packages at the chapel.

Rev. Rich will provide an extensive selection of elopement ceremony samples that go well beyond the standard elopement script. This upgrade must be requested at least 48 hours prior to the ceremony to allow time for selection and processing. This upgrade is available to the Getaway Elopement and Getaway Plus Elopement.

Ceremony Samples Upgrade: $50

marriage license delivery

Rev. Rich will personally deliver your completed and signed Tennessee Marriage License paperwork to the Davidson County Clerk the next business day after the ceremony. This upgrade is available to all couples in any package booking, but only for licenses obtained at the Davidson County Clerk in Nashvile. Rev. Rich will not make personal deliveries to any other county clerks.

Personal License Delivery: $25

Rich Events has created a customized decorative certificate of marriage and a similar decorative certificate of renewal. These are non-binding, ceremonial, decorative documents intended to commemorate the ceremony and provide a keepsake to take home and display. Please note that these are not legal documents. They are solely for personal and sentimental purposes.

Decorative Certificate: $25
