33 + YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Together, Elopements of Nashville and Rich Events have over 33 years of experience in weddings and elopements. Elopements are different than traditional weddings and require a special skillset that we have perfected over the years. We are able to offer high quality services, at stunning venues, in a very short timeframe. Our streamlined process allows our couples to have a truly amazing elopement experience.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN A 60 MINUTE ELOPEMENT?
VENUE with up to 16 guests
Beautiful and historic, Spring Haven Mansion is located in Hendersonville, just minutes from downtown Nashville. Offering both indoor and outdoor ceremony locations makes it the perfect venue all year long. (In the event of inclement weather, ceremonies are moved inside the mansion.) The rich pre-civil war history, park-like setting, barn, and gardens are a perfect backdrop for your outdoor TN elopement. Andrew Jackson, John Armfield, Isaac Franklin, and Adelicia Acklen are only a few who share in the rich history of this home. This package comes with seating for 16. Additional guests are not permitted.
OFFICIANT
Rev. Rich is a seminary-trained ordained minister and former pastor, and is possibly the most experienced Nashville wedding minister. He offers both Christian and non - religious ceremonies.

WHAT DOES A 60 MINUTE ELOPEMENT LOOK LIKE?
ARRIVAL
Couple + any guests enter through the mansion gate together at the start time and park in the parking lot. (The gate will be blocked until the start time, where you will be escorted in.) The couple hand their Tennessee Marriage License paperwork to Rev. Rich and rings and bouquet to photographers. Rev. Rich verifies names with the couple while the photographers photograph the rings and bouquet.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Couples who are planning to use a ride share (Uber/Lyft) must have the ride share stay on site for the length of the package time. It can take 30+ minutes for a ride share as this venue is 20 miles from downtown and because couples are required to leave when their package time is complete it is imperative your ride is ready on time.
CEREMONY
Rev. Rich + Groom take their place at the ceremony site and all attendants enter followed by the bride. (Music upgrade may be added for an additional fee.) The ceremony generally lasts between 5-7 minutes. The photographer captures the ceremony.
PHOTOS
Following the ceremony the the photographers will capture formal pictures with guests and finish with pictures of just the couple for the remainder of the package.
WHAT NOT TO EXPECT WITH A 60 MINUTE ELOPEMENT?
FIRST LOOKs
OR changing clothes
With a super condensed amount of time, first looks or separate entrance times aren’t a part of elopements. Our couples must arrive and depart in the same attire. We have a very specific routine that allows us to give our couples an amazing experience in a short period of time. It is helpful to let any friends and family that will be attending, know this in advance.
Outside Vendors/ Unplugged Elopement
To ensure the best possible experience, all elopements are unplugged. This means we do not permit any photo, video or streaming to take place by anyone professional or non professional outside of Elopements of Nashville.
Elopements of Nashville provides photography with every package and the option to add video for $150 that is delivered the same day and perfect to share.
Early or Late Arrival
When you book your package, it includes access to the venue and venue grounds for that exact amount of time. Arriving early or staying late to take more photos or for any other reason is not permitted and can result in cancellation of your booking and or no release of photos, with no refund.
We have multiple back to back elopements a day, so it is important our clients arrive on time and leave on time. It is important to let your guests know this in advance.
WHAT DO WE NEED TO LEGALLY BE MARRIED IN TENNESSEE?
TN MARRIAGE LICENSE
The thought of running off and getting married spontaneously may be romantic, but it can't happen if you don't do the necessary prep work. You'll need a TN Marriage License if your planning to Elope in Nashville! Even if you're not a TN resident, you still need a TN marriage license. You can actually get your license at any county clerk in Tennessee.
Since most of our couples are staying in the Nashville area we have a link to the Davidson County Clerk above.
For out of the country destination elopements, please contact the clerk for details.
