33 + YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Together, Elopements of Nashville and Rich Events have over 33 years of experience in weddings and elopements. Elopements are different than traditional weddings and require a special skillset that we have perfected over the years. We are able to offer high quality services, at stunning venues, in a very short timeframe. Our streamlined process allows our couples to have a truly amazing elopement experience.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN A FRIENDS + FAMILY ELOPEMENT?

VENUE with up to 16 guests

Skinner Chapel is a beautiful wedding chapel in the Music Row area of downtown Nashville. With stately architectural details this tiny, romantic, chapel makes for an ideal elopement venue. This package will have seating for 16. 

OFFICIANT

Rev. Rich is a seminary-trained ordained minister and former pastor, and is possibly the most experienced Nashville wedding minister. He offers both Christian and non - religious ceremonies.

Assistant

Rev. Rich has an assistant who will be present to make sure everything runs smooth and easy! She will help with the processional, recessional and coordination of bridal party attendants. She will organize any music you have arranged, whether that be the Rich Events recorded music, or a live musician that you have brought.

Bridal party

The couple can have up to 2 bridal party attendants, 1 on each side, should they choose. 

WHAT DOES A MICRO-WEDDING CEREMONY LOOK LIKE?

ARRIVAL

Couple + any guests arrive at the start time. (Couple has the option to enter separately so as not to see each other before the ceremony, this can be coordinated ahead of time with Rev. Rich).

Get 
organized

Guests enter the chapel, Couple hand paperwork to Rev. Rich and rings and bouquet to photographers. Rev. Rich verifies names with the couple while the photographers photograph the rings and bouquet.

Rev. Rich and his assistant will go over details of the processional, ceremony and recessional before lining up any bridal party that will be walking. The assistant will organize whatever music you have arranged, whether that be the Rich Events recored music upgrade, or a live musician that you have brought. (If you added video, the groom will be mic’d at this time)

CEREMONY

Rev. Rich + Groom and any groomsmen enter the chapel, followed by bridesmaids and bride. Couple take their place at the alter and all guests take a seat. (If you have no bridal party, Rev. Rich and the Groom enter, followed by the bride and whomever is escorting her.) Photographer photographs the ceremony. 

PHOTOS

Following the ceremony the couple + guests will step into the room next door while the chapel is reset. Photographers will call the couple back in for formal pictures with their guests inside the chapel and finish with pictures of just the couple outside, weather permitting.

WHAT SHOULD I NOT EXPECT WITH A FRIENDS + FAMILY ELOPEMENT?

NO EXTRA TIME FOR PHOTOS

extra guests

When you book your package, it includes access to the venue/grounds for that exact amount of time. Arriving early or staying late to take more photos is not permitted. We also have multiple back to back elopements a day, so it is important our clients arrive on time and leave on time.

This package allows a max of 16 guests, additional guests are not only not permitted but wouldn't be able to fit in the chapel. 

WHAT DO WE NEED TO LEGALLY BE MARRIED IN TENNESSEE?

TN MARRIAGE LICENSE

The thought of running off and getting married spontaneously may be romantic, but it can't happen if you don't do the necessary prep work. You'll need a TN Marriage License if your planning to Elope in Nashville! Even if you're not a TN resident, you still need a TN marriage license. You can actually get your license at any county clerk in Tennessee.

All of the stylists at Harlow Salon specialize in bridal party hair and makeup.

 

They even offer a “Princess Package” where you can come in with your bridal party, and they serve brunch, mimosas, coffee, tea, and sodas; all while having a professional photographer capture your entire event on camera. All you have to do is come into the salon and RELAX.​
