33 + YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Together, Elopements of Nashville and Rich Events have over 33 years of experience in weddings and elopements. Elopements are different than traditional weddings and require a special skillset that we have perfected over the years. We are able to offer high quality services, at stunning venues, in a very short timeframe. Our streamlined process allows our couples to have a truly amazing elopement experience.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN A 30 MINUTE ELOPEMENT?

VENUE with up to 
8 guests

Skinner Chapel is a beautiful wedding chapel in the Music Row area of downtown Nashville. With stately architectural details this tiny, romantic, chapel makes for an ideal elopement venue. This package will have seating for 8.

Additional guests are not permitted. 

OFFICIANT

Rev. Rich is a seminary-trained ordained minister and former pastor, and is possibly the most experienced Nashville wedding minister. He offers both Christian and non-religious ceremonies. 

PHOTOGRAPHY

WHAT DOES A 30 MINUTE ELOPEMENT LOOK LIKE?

ARRIVAL

Couple + any guests enter the chapel together at the start time, hand their Tennessee Marriage License paperwork to Rev. Rich and rings and bouquet to photographers. Rev. Rich verifies names with the couple while the photographers photograph the rings and bouquet before placing them on the alter for the ceremony. 

CEREMONY

Rev. Rich + the groom take their place at the altar and the bride enters. (Music upgrade can be added for additional fee.) All guests take a seat. The ceremony generally lasts between 5-7 minutes. The photographer captures the ceremony.

PHOTOS

Following the ceremony the couple + guests will step into the room next door while the chapel is reset. Photographers will call the couple back in for formal pictures with their guests inside the chapel and finish with pictures of just the couple outside, weather permitting.

WHAT NOT TO EXPECT WITH A 30 MINUTE ELOPEMENT?

 FIRST LOOK OR changing clothes

With a super condensed amount of time, first looks or separate entrance times aren’t a part of elopements. Our couples must arrive and depart in the same attire. We have a very specific routine that allows us to give our couples an amazing experience in a short period of time. It is helpful to let any friends and family that will be attending, know this in advance.

unplugged elopement

To ensure the best possible experience, all elopements are unplugged. This means we do not permit any photo, video or streaming to take place by anyone professional or non professional outside of  Elopements of Nashville.  

 

Elopements of Nashville provides photography with every package and the option to add video for $150  that is delivered the same day and perfect to share. 

early or late arrival 
 

When you book your package, it includes access to the venue and venue grounds for that exact amount of time. Arriving early or staying late to take more photos or for any other reason is not permitted and can result in cancellation of your booking and or no release of photos, with no refund. 

 

We have multiple back to back elopements a day, so it is important our clients arrive on time and leave on time. It is important to let your guests know this in advance. 

 Bridal Party
 

Bridesmaids, groomsmen, and other bridal party are an element of traditional weddings that elopements don't have. It also takes a considerable amount of time to coordinate, which is why bridesmaids and groomsmen are not part of this package.

WHAT DO WE NEED TO LEGALLY BE MARRIED IN TENNESSEE?

TN MARRIAGE LICENSE

The thought of running off and getting married spontaneously may be romantic, but it can't happen if you don't do the necessary prep work. You'll need a TN Marriage License if you're planning to Elope in Nashville! Even if you're not a TN resident, you still need a TN marriage license. You can actually get your license at any county clerk in Tennessee.

All of the stylists at Harlow Salon specialize in bridal party hair and makeup.

 

They even offer a “Princess Package” where you can come in with your bridal party, and they serve brunch, mimosas, coffee, tea, and sodas; all while having a professional photographer capture your entire event on camera. All you have to do is come into the salon and RELAX.​
