Vanessa and Brandon love the outdoors and wanted an epic location to elope that would still be close to Nashville. When we told them about Twin Falls at Rock Island State Park they thought it sounded perfect, but wanted to know if they could bring along their dog, River. Since we are perhaps the biggest animal lovers in the world, we of course said heck yes!!! River, was SO well behaved and I may have snuck in a few kisses and cuddles with him in between pictures : )

It was hot and humid, but as soon as we reached the falls it was as if all that heavy air lifted, and you were engulfed in the most refreshing cool breeze! We timed their elopement perfectly and the sun was just behind the mountain giving us the most perfect light for their entire session.

Vanessa couldn’t have picked a more perfect dress, the breeze picked up the skirt perfectly and made for such beautiful photos!

After a couple amazing hours and hundreds of jaw dropping pictures later, we made our way back up the trail. River, enjoyed some water from my water bottle and we all talked about our favorite spots down by the falls. As we were driving away, Michael and I agreed we had such an incredible career - getting to connect with couples on the biggest day of their lives, in some of the most beautiful locations.
